Senior Site Engineer – Civil Engineering\n\nEdinburgh\n\n£50,000 - £65,000 + Company Vehicle + Lodge Allowance + Benefits\n\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor working on major infrastructure projects across Scotland and the UK.\n\nThe successful candidate will play a key role in project delivery, supporting earthworks, drainage, reinforced concrete and infrastructure works while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n• Surveying, setting out and volume calculations\n• Managing machine control systems and 3D modelling\n• Monitoring earthworks progress and reporting project performance\n• Interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications\n• Supporting project planning and resource coordination\n• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental standards\n• Assisting with commercial reporting and project controls\n• Mentoring junior engineers and supporting site teams\n\nRequirements:\n\n• Degree or HND in Civil Engineering\n• 4+ years' experience within civil engineering or infrastructure projects\n• Strong setting out and surveying experience\n• Knowledge of Topcon, Trimble or Leica machine control systems\n• Experience using GPS, Total Stations and surveying software\n• Roads, drainage, earthworks or reinforced concrete experience\n• Full UK Driving Licence\n• Willingness to travel and work away from home when required\n\nPackage:\n\n• £50,000 - £65,000 basic salary\n• Company vehicle\n• Lodge allowance\n• Pension scheme\n• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays\n• Ongoing training and career development\n• Long-term career progression opportunities\n\nApply now for a confidential discussion
